Mati Felderman, Executive Director of Community Engagement and HRMC Foundation

Mati Felderman is the executive director of the HRMC Foundation. She joined the team at Huron Regional Medical Center in 2017 and has served the organization in physician services, administrative support and marketing. Currently, Felderman oversees communications and marketing for HRMC and sits on the administrative team for the organization in addition to leading the activities of the HRMC Foundation.

Originally from Sundance, Wyoming, Felderman has lived in the Huron area since 2009 and is active in the community, currently serving as the president of the Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau board of directors. She graduated from Black Hills State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Business with a marketing focus.

Felderman, who assumed leadership of the Foundation in July 2025, has been active as a volunteer and planner for many Foundation events for several years. As executive director, Felderman is responsible for guiding and coordinating fundraising, special events, community and donor relations and all other activities that further the mission of the HRMC Foundation, which is to support the health and wellbeing of the community and ensure the availability of high-quality health care, close to home.

Felderman and her husband, Chad, general manager at Dakota Energy cooperative, live north of Huron on their family farm. They have two sons, Noah and Jaxson. In her spare time, Felderman enjoys following the activities of her children, traveling, and spending time at the lake with family, friends and her dogs.
